M3 task- getting to know me


After having to look back and see who in my life had influenced me into who I am, I found it very interesting that these were the 4 people who came up. My dad and grandpa were of to no surprise but as for my high school coach and one of my best friends, it is humbling as well as crazy to think that I never would have thought that my friend and coach would have had such an impact on me.
     The present was of to no surprise and these 2 attributes are the reason I'm at Hardin Simmons in the first place. I'm Just really happy it is what i thought it would be and more important the effect it has on me is everything i could as for.
     Until I saw my past in detail, it gave me a clear view of how my future can pan out as well as the deciding factors on the reason I want to become a Football coach as well as a mentor to younger kids.

     My name is Jason Cottongame, my first name is also my father's although I am not a junior because I have a different middle name. My middle name is unique, I've only met one other person that has had this name. It's very interesting because like me he received his first name from his father who also happened to be Jason, and his middle came came from a Steve McQueen movie called "Junior Bonner".      The two pictures to the right of the screen are a pictures of my friends and me. The upper picture is during my first spring break in college at South Padre and the lower picture is from a music festival called Larry Joe Taylor.
